This week in the Cougars

It's an action packed couple of weeks coming up for the Cougars.

Wednesday - Training out at UBC @ 6.30-8.30pm and later on at Mahoney's

Saturday - Game 3 of the Cougars V Eagles series. This week's game is out at Burnaby Lakes. See the "Links" section of this website if you are unclear on how to get to the ground. Players are requested to get to the grounds no later than 12.30pm.

Saturday night - Straight after the game we will most likely be having a short Cougars gathering before heading off on mass to Moose's Downunder bar downtown to support the Eagles "Ladies night" function.

Next weekend - Kelowna Tournament. Campo has already reserved some rooms down in Kelowna for this big trip, so have a chat to him at training on Wednesday for more info. We will also be organising mini-vans for the trips down.

A special reminder to Canadian players - the Canadian National Head Coach - Mark Block will be attending the Kelowna Cup to scout for Canadian born players to represent Canada as a member of the Northwind. Upcoming events for the team include the International tournament at Thunderbird Stadium, in Vancouver B.C. this summer and the “2008 International Cup” held in Melbourne, Australia.
