Huge Weekend Ahead!

This weekend is set to be a huge two day event of AFL.

First off - training! Wednesday 1st, 6:15pm at the grass fields located next to the artificial field hockey fields at UBC. We need all players to attend as we will be discussing the weekend events etc, Make sure you make an effort to attend this training so that we are well prepared for the weekend.

Then the big event! Saturday and Sunday (4th and 5th August). It is a big two days of footy with the Cougars playing games on both days. We will also be asking for volunteers to help with pie selling, goal and boundary umpiring, central umpiring and many other jobs. We will need all the support we can get - so friends and family are encouraged to attend! The game schedule will follow shortly!

To tempt those that are not 100% sure of the thrill of playing against Seattle, Calgary, Burnaby and possibly some other mix teams - there will be fantastic MEAT PIES (and some veggie) and a BEER GARDEN!

The organizers (AFL CANADA) have applied a $10 charge for spectators to the main game but I do believe that all players are allowed free entry.

See you all at training.
