BCFooty releases sticky situation quiz

If you're a man wandering along a darkened corridor at a party and a woman calls you into her room thinking you to be her boyfriend do you a) pretend to be him and get into bed with her or b) walk away?
If you chose b) your sensitivities towards women may be just finely tuned enough to play AFL in British Columbia.
In a bid to curb its players's image problem with women BCfooty is currently putting together an educational DVD aimed at its new recruits to help them deal with these apparently baffling scenarios.
The DVD, currently in production using seven actors, the MCG and a house in Yale Town, is part of a wider education program for BCfooty players on sexual harassment, problem gambling, drinking and drug use as well as racial vilification.
Here's another example of a brain buster set to be on the DVD: you are in the company of a woman who has had too much to drink do you a) get her a glass of water b) call her a taxi or c) take her home for sex?
Then there's the conundrum of whether upon walking into the room where your friend and his girlfriend are having sex you a) stay and watch or b) not watch and walk away.
BCfooty president Peter Campion said that the genuine attempt by BCfooty to increase respect for women should not be ridiculed as the sport is made up of boys from the community who can "catch a football."
"Where do you reckon footballers come from, they come from the community. Half of them from this year's intake were probably out at Dave Millers recent party in Vancouver.
"We get the small percentage of people in the community who can catch a football, so I think the BCFooty Players Association should be commended for taking such a line," Campion told Fairfax radio.
Campion said it was the varied backgrounds of young BCfooty players meant that some did not know how to handle the "extraordinary situations" professional football thrust upon them.
"We get people from dysfunctional backgrounds to people who come from absolutely magnificent families who have a good grip on things.
"The point Bcfooty is trying to make is that young men come into football and they go from the year before not being able to get a date for the social to suddenly half the nightclubs throwing themselves at them," Campion said.
