Polar Bear Swim - 2007 Season Kick-off

After a leisurely sleep in after a rather large New Year's Eve it was down to English Bay in downtown Vancouver for the traditional kick off to the Cougars footy season - the Polar Bear swim. A few of us were crazy enough to strip down and join 2,000 odd other brave Vancouverites. Unlike prior years where we've been faced with freezing weather and even snow on the sand, it was actually a balmy 2-3 degrees !! Stu and Coops set up a line and actually performed a mock surf lifesaving rescue for the crowd - great stuff.
